Overview
As the Naturmuseum St.Gallen moved into its new home, it was also time for a new visual identity. I developed and presented a comprehensive branding proposal that included stationery, the annual program, posters, and a concept for the new website — all designed to reflect the museum’s renewed energy and modern direction.

The Challenge
The museum needed a fresh identity that would resonate with a broad audience, from school groups to science enthusiasts, while reflecting its scientific credibility and connection to nature. The design had to be flexible enough to work across both print and digital channels.
The Solution
I created a modern and approachable design concept, combining clear typography, organic shapes, and a natural color palette. Each element – from printed materials like posters and brochures to the website design – was aligned to create a cohesive, recognizable brand experience that celebrates the museum’s educational and cultural mission.
The Result
The proposed visual identity offered a strong foundation for the museum’s relaunch in its new space. It balanced professionalism with a playful, engaging tone – helping to position the Naturmuseum St.Gallen as both a trusted institution and a vibrant, welcoming place for discovery and learning.
