Overview
As part of a broader transformation initiative by the Sust Museum Horgen to become more visible and engaging for younger audiences, I was responsible for the poster campaign promoting Der Salz-Fall – an interactive outdoor mystery game set in 17th-century Horgen. The posters were designed to spark curiosity and encourage participation in the game while reflecting the museum’s refreshed identity.

The Challenge
The main challenge was to communicate historical content in a visually engaging and contemporary way – appealing to families, school classes, and young people. The campaign needed to strike a balance between educational depth and playful storytelling to reflect the spirit of the game.
The Solution
I created a series of poster layouts that showcased the key themes of Der Salz-Fall: mystery, history, and interaction. The design focused on clarity, bold typography, and dynamic composition, using provided visual assets to create a cohesive and inviting look across different locations. The posters were placed throughout Horgen to increase local awareness and drive engagement.
The Result
The poster campaign contributed to the successful launch of Der Salz-Fall and helped position the museum as an accessible, innovative space for all generations. It played a key role in drawing attention to the new format and supported the museum’s mission of reintroducing local history in fresh, engaging ways.
